Piscopo has been playing for Inter Milan youth teams for the past six seasons and last night confirmed he had made the move to Torino.

The teenager was spotted by an Inter Milan scout whiles on a training trip in Italy with the Genova International School of Soccer.

Piscopo captained the Italian national Under-15 team and the teenager’s story went mainstream in Australia with appearances on the Channel Seven Sunrise program and Channel Ten News.

Speaking on social media the 18-year-old said he was buzzing to start his career with his new Serie A club.

“Delighted to have signed with @torinofc1906, can't wait to get started,” he said.

“I would like to thank FC Inter for having me at this amazing club for the past 6 years, making me the player I am today! Very hard to say goodbye to the people I grew up with, made lifetime friends here and I'm going to miss you all! Thank you once again @inter for everything.”

Piscopo was selected for the Young Socceroos squad that played in the AFC U-19 Championship in Bahrain from 13-30 October 2016. Unfortunately, the Aussies failed to qualify but Piscopo did feature in the nil all draw against Tajikistan.
