TASMANIA may still be some way from being able to boast an A-League side but the state's bid team has already landed Eric Cantona (sort of).
Tasmania United and the State Cinema have come together to organise the state's premiere of Ken Loach's award-winning film Looking For Eric.
Premier David Bartlett and Mrs. Bartlett, will be the special guests at a TUFC Inc. special event on Friday September 18 at the State Cinema, North Hobart, for the Tasmanian premiere of the film.
The film, featuring a guest performance from Eric Cantona, will no doubt prove popular with Premier Bartlett who is a big Man U fan.
The public can still buy tickets for this event direct from the State Cinema, priced at $25 each.
