Jackson Irvine’s, Burton Albion recorded their first win of the season as they defeated Birmingham 2-1 at the Pirelli Stadium. The result was enough to see Nigel Clough’s side lift themselves off the bottom of the table.

Elsewhere, a resilient QPR side fought back from a goal down to beat Hull City 2-1, thanks to a last gasp winner from R’s striker, Idrissa Sylla.
While the encounter at Ashton Gate featuring Socceroos’, Bailey Wright and James Meredith produced a 0-0 stalemate. Both teams failed to deliver on the day with the match unlikely to go down in the history books for either side.
