Kenny Lowe has no interest in signing up for a second stint as Perth Glory's full-time coach despite being handed the reins for the club's clash with EPL outfit West Ham.

Glory have been without a coach since parting ways with Ruben Zadkovich in early June.

Lowe, who coached Glory between 2013-2018, recently stepped in to fill the void to help Perth prepare for two upcoming games.

Glory take on West Ham at Optus Stadium on Saturday night before facing off against fellow ALM side Macarthur in an Australia Cup play-off next Tuesday in Darwin.

Lowe was a highly respected figure during his four-and-a-half year tenure as Glory head coach and was appointed club Academy Director after his sacking.

But the 61-year-old has no interest in becoming Glory's head coach again.

"No, the itch has been totally scratched," Lowe told reporters on Thursday.

"Five years - I had a full head of hair before I started that. I'm enjoying what I'm doing. I'm just here to help as best as I can."

Glory owner Tony Sage is still looking to sell a significant stake in the club and a deal could be struck in the near future.

Sage met with an overseas-based buyer last month and the Australian Professional Leagues have also courted interested buyers in Australia in a bid to help the process along.

Glory will field a weakened squad against West Ham with regulars Mustafa Amini and Ryan Williams unavailable.

But Lowe is confident the club's up-and-coming players from the youth academy will be able to put on a good show.

"We've got some great young kids, so there could be a few shocks and surprises tomorrow," Lowe said.

"People might see them and it could be a life-changing game for them.

"(My message to them is) just to come with some love, come and play and enjoy the game. Express yourselves and be free.

"Put your best Batman outfit on and come as a four-year-old running around having a ball."

West Ham finished 14th in the Premier League last season and Lowe is desperate for Glory to give them a good challenge.

"West Ham have come all this way. They don't want to come here and have a game where they just dominate," Lowe said.

"We've got to come out and play on the front foot and be adventurous, and enjoy ourselves.

"Hopefully it's a 6-6 and not a 12-0. We're looking to play our way and enjoy the occasion."
