Socceroos striker Jamie Maclaren has scored his third goal for Hibernian in a shock 2-1 win over Tom Rogic's Celtic in the Scottish Premier League overnight.
Maclaren opened the scoring on 24 minutes when he tapped in from close range at the back post from Lewis Stevenson's cross.
The Australian forward had joined Hibernian on loan from SV Darmstadt 98 in January, having failed to score in Germany's 2.Bundesliga in six months.
Maclaren started and played 73 minutes and was a constant threat for Hibs.
Rogic put in a full shift for the Hoops, coming close with a first-half poked effort.
The midfielder was given a 7/10 rating by fans' blog Read Celtic which wrote: "Was probably Celtic’s best player in a poor performance. Glided past defenders and added a real attacking threat in behind the midfield.
"Should have got on the scoresheet but was denied by the goalkeeper with two saves."
Elsewhere in the SPL, Australian midfielder Ryan Edwards came off the bench to score the winner for Partick Thistle in a 2-1 victory over Hamilton Academical.
