It was business as usual for most of the Australian continent playing overseas in September. There were some notable changes though, with an ex-Mariner, now playing in Norway, pledging his future to the Socceroos. Meanwhile, the Indian Super League continues to be an attractive prospect for Aussie veterans.

Socceroos Abroad: More minutes in the UK, freakish goals in Korea, and the son of a Socceroos legend emerges in Switzerland
The 2021-22 football season is well and truly underway overseas. In August, many Aussies continued to get minutes in the UK, whilst a former A-League defender scored an outrageous goal in Korea. Meanwhile, the son of a Socceroos legend is coming through the ranks at one of Switzerland's biggest clubs.

Socceroos Abroad: Big results in European qualifiers as transfer frenzy continues
In our July Socceroos Abroad wrap - with many further transfers happening in August already - there was much more to speak of at club level for our Aussies Abroad in July, with several leagues returning for the 2021-22 season. Australians all over the world continued to secure new homes throughout the ongoing transfer window, whilst there were some big results for Aussies involved in the early rounds of qualifying for UEFA competitions in Europe.
