Rogic, fresh from setting up Celtic's opener in the midweek UEFA Champions League qualifier against Astana, was instrumental in setting up goals to James Forrest and Callum McGregor.

The Australian showed skill as he beat a defender and broke forward into the box, before cutting back for Forrest to open the scoring on 40 minutes.

Rogic went on a similar run on 88 minutes, driving forward before playing a throughball which found McGregor who slotted home.

Forrest was full of praise for Rogic after the game.

“For the size of him he has great feet," Forrest said.

"He’s a player you want to have in your team and he’s great to play with because he finds space and slips balls in and looks to do one-twos.

“He has great feet and he was tremendous for the goal.

"I think that’s what we needed, a wee bit of life and creativity and he definitely brings that.”
